New Brunswick issues 750 invitations for provincial immigration
New Brunswick conducted several provincial immigration selections between July 16 and July 22, through which it issued a total of 750 invitations.
These invitations were issued through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) and three streams of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP).

Under the NBPNP, candidates were invited through the New Brunswick Skilled Worker stream, the New Brunswick Strategic Initiative, and the New Brunswick Express Entry stream.
Candidates invited through the NBPNP may respond by applying for provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
Candidates invited through the AIP may apply for certificates of endorsement, which may be used to apply to the federal government for permanent residence through the AIP.

Health care workers were invited in every draw, while other targeted occupations varied by round.
Skilled Worker Stream
Between the period of July 16 and July 18, New Brunswick conducted two selection rounds under the Skilled Worker Stream, through which 267 invitations were issued.
Candidates received invitations through all three pathways under this stream.

Each draw had a distinct cut-off date and time:
- July 16–July 18 draw: no later than 11:59 p.m. AST on July 15, 2026.
- July 18 draw: no later than 11:59 p.m. AST on July 17, 2026.
The New Brunswick Experience pathway: aimed at individuals who are currently living and working in the province and have maintained full-time employment with an eligible employer for at least six months.
The New Brunswick Priorities pathway: targets foreign nationals who obtained a full-time job offer from an eligible employer through a provincial recruitment mission, with the role classified under a priority NOC and the candidate holding at least one year of related experience.
The New Brunswick Graduates pathway: targets international graduates who completed a post-secondary program in the province that is eligible for a post-graduation work permit and are either working full-time for an eligible New Brunswick employer or have accepted an offer for such a position.
Strategic Initiative Stream
The province held a single draw under the Strategic Initiative Stream on July 16, through which it targeted candidates through two of the three pathways under this stream.

The Francophone Workers in New Brunswick pathway: targets French-speaking foreign nationals who are working full-time for an eligible New Brunswick employer (or have an offer of such employment) and have either lived in the province for at least six months or secured the job offer through a special recruitment mission.
The New Brunswick Francophone Priorities pathway: intended for French-speaking foreign nationals who have a priority connection to New Brunswick, including francophone graduates of eligible provincial post-secondary programs lasting one year or longer and individuals invited by Immigration New Brunswick.
Express Entry Stream
This July 16 selection round recorded the lowest invitation total of any NBPNP selection round included in the draw series. Candidates were invited under one of the two pathways under Express Entry stream.

The Employment in New Brunswick Pathway: intended for Express Entry candidates who have lived in the province for at least 12 months and worked full-time for a New Brunswick employer in a TEER 0–3 occupation throughout that period.
Atlantic Immigration Program
On July 22, New Brunswick held a draw targeting candidates in a wide range of occupations under the AIP—its third-largest AIP-specific draw in 2026.

The cut-off date and time of this draw was 11:59 p.m. AST on July 21, 2026.
The AIP: an employer-driven pathway to permanent residence for foreign nationals who have a qualifying job offer from a designated employer in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island.
The job offer must be endorsed by the province where the employer is located. Foreign nationals must also meet the program’s requirements for language proficiency, work experience, education, and settlement funds.
