Before joining the CIC News team in 2022, Edana worked as a Content Writer and Communications Specialist in the travel industry.

She is originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism (Honours) from the University of King’s College in Halifax.

She thrives on making sense of complex issues and being the first to break exciting news.

Edana has traveled widely and lived abroad, using her experiences to create content that is relevant and interesting to newcomers.
